Problems with Bold Prime
Client provided me the current version of the trading software and believe me it was too complex, not clear at all to any first time user. Below are some of the major problems that were corrected in the redesigned version:
Unorganised Navigation

The menu bar at the top is too unorganised as badly placed. Also the Login screen seems too poorly designed.
Tangled Navigation Menu in Dashboard

Despite having an amazing set of features and tools, they’ve become obscured by our growing list of features. And because there is such a thin connection between them, our customers are not made aware of the tools that are actually within their reach.There are plenty of useful features for the traders but they aren't trying it because they don’t see it or because it is positioned as a peripheral feature, they won’t think to try it.

There are plenty of options available in the user detail section. For example the advance IB Tier, Balance and deposit. This creates a feeling of unpredictability and degrades the overall perceived quality of our brand. Customers have to relearn whole sets of new rules for each tool. With each additional tool we create, this problem only gets worse.
Unorganised Dashboard and Accounts

In this design we have Primary accounts, My accounts and one banner.This dashboard view is so small that it can only fits these three options. Here we have to provide many different functionality that are useful for the users.

Solutions in the redesign
We are introducing a new way to navigate across menus, a new dashboard with better visual appearance and use-ability. Also we are introducing a new onboarding screens
Simple and modern onboarding screens




A new onboarding screens were designed for bold prime. This has two sections:
One was for login and sign up and other was for users to know some cool facts about Bold prime.
Clean Dashboard with better options

The new dashboard has separate options for banner, Primary accounts, announcements and also clear navigation menu positioning. Apart from this it has separate section to view the latest transactions also.
At the top it has the users information, account details and also contact to help desk option.

Similarly Accounts page has three sub menu in the dropdown. This new menu has better hovering effects, better text placing.
